46 kms.... AM - Another wonderful breakfast choice in our 4**** hotel, what else! The rain had gone, as predicted, and the sky was clear and sunny as we headed out of Brno. Left town through a seedy looking suburban area, I guess most cities have these areas. We followed a cycle track, sealed, along a small creek which we rode for kilometres until we reached a beautiful forest area, that clean, alpine ...

... Venice witch, Stab stitch, Did you have a choice & Rail radish! Pretty good pronunciation, eh? The last 10km or so into Brno was all on cycle paths and alongside the local creek, the Svratka (Rats car) so this was easy going right into the centre of town. Then we saw the last 500 metres to our hotel, vertical, well almost! This is a huge hotel of a century or two in age, have to get a photo from the south ...

The Amber Trail - Apparently we are cycling along, or close to, a centuries old trade route from the Baltic States to Southern Europe. One of the main commodities carried along here was Amber from Lithuania, Latvia etc hence the name. 83 kms.... AM - After a great breakfast at the Austrian Hotel we were met by Tomas of Greenways Travel Club/Topbicycle from the Czech Republic. He proceeded to give us full instructions on riding a bike, ...

... meal was less than £60 with drinks and tip. Having eaten repeatedly in The Codfather in Cape Town I thought we should compare. Whilst Codfather gives you more food, they also cover everything in mayo. Koishi is very careful on the mayo and the food is much more delicate. Nothing really fried and there also an a la carte menu. Location gives it to Codfather but if you're ever in Brno you have to come ...

... German?) and 3 women who were singing the Russky songs the accordion player was playing. I thought that might be offensive to the other diners, as there is no love lost between Czechs and Russians since they did awful things to the country. You
could see nice-looking older people looking askance at that table. But it went on and on and player just stayed at that table. We though he didn’t
circulate because he knew he’d have ...
