LA here I come!!!
I flew from Honolulu to LAX and met my mom in the Hawaiian baggage claim. It was awesome to see my mom for the first time in 4 years. Wow... I can't believe it's been that long. We were picked up by a friend and went out to dinner. The hotel Current was a descent hotel for a day or two stay.

So, I have completed a full week at work! It's so weird working in an office, especially in a foreign country! But I love it! It's so nice to have people say 'Ooh I love your accent!' and everyone is really nice here!
So on Saturday I decided to do a bit of sightseeing and I went to see the biggest attraction in Long beach which is the Queen Mary. It is almost exactly like the Titanic ...

Glanz und Glamour in Hollywood
... Hills, wo wir dann auch etwas näher an den berühmten Hollywood-Schriftzug gekommen sind.
Auf den Spuren von 'Pretty Woman' sind wir dann weiter zum Rodeo Drive und haben uns dort die Reichen und Schönen beim Shoppen angeschaut und natürlich auch selber die Kreditkarten zum Glühen gebracht. (Allerdings glühten die bei uns eher wegen der Hitze und nicht wegen des Shoppings... Das werden wir aber morgen nachholen. Wir wollen ein letztes Mal ein ...
