I gave him a little hostel tour, and then we went off to Gamla Stan, the old town. I've been to Gamla Stan a few times, but it was fun nonetheless! They have some Christmassy lights out now, and we watched a guard drill outside the palace. Then we went to Restaurang Kryp In, one of the highest reviewed/rated restaurants in ...

... one down, we found an official city taxi stop and hopped in the one cab waiting there at that time of the morning. At the airport in plenty of time, we checked in and grabbed some breakfast and waited to board the plane.

The flight took off and landed on time as we arrived at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The airport is quite a distance from the center of town but the hotel we were spending our one night was near the airport and a shuttle was going ...

... one was the hunting ground of former Kings. Now residential but closed for new development. After a short walk in the old town we are again left to our own devices. It's very easy to get disorientated when you are surrounded by water so we seek advice on getting back to the ship. Walking today is not really an option so we take the public bus that delivers us almost to the ships door. Thank goodness we did as Glenn admitted that had we ...
