Today was our last day in the swiss alps, and we were hoping to see some base jumpers. We got up around 9am and made breakfast, got ready and headed out. Today was another beautiful day here, no clouds in the sky, seems the days we didnt plan anything were the best days.

We were going to walk towards the gondola where we got on for our paragliding. We know base jumpers jump from the cliffs around here. On the way we saw a lot landing but none jumping which was annoying. We ...

We met a young couple from Saudi Arabia on their honeymoon who spent most of the time with us and I gladly snapped photos for them but Madawi has asked me ...

... So that was happening for a while until Luke came over and told us that he just dared Paige to swim through the freezing cold lake for €20 & she accepted! So I helped Eliza stand up & we went to the lake to see what was happening. Paige actually did it! She was frozen when she got out but she earned her €20. At that point, Eliza was no longer allowed to drink or smoke & she needed to sober up. We headed to the bar & had a few drinks ...

... cars up to a lovely little high mountain village called Murren where no (visitors) cars are allowed, and mad cyclists abound. Enjoyed a picnic lunch (prepared from free breaky at the hostel) watching cascading waterfalls, passing para-gliders, and clouds encroaching on the high mountain tops (viewing Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau from opposite side of the valley)…wow!

    Walked from there ...
