Finally into Interlaken and its time to re-fill the tank. Somehow I have managed 175 miles since my last stop.
Tank filled and its off up the nice twisty road to Lauterbrunnen which lays right in the shadow of the wonderful Jungfrau peaks which are over 4000m high.
As I pull into the town I notice a sign saying "Hotel Open"and so that's where I'm staying tonight.

To get into this country you have to drive through a lot of tunnels that it is rumoured that the Swiss can blow up if someone decided to attack. Presently in interlaken Switzerland, a town that will easily be rivaled by the likes of banff and Jasper given another four to five hundred years. The old world charm is working on me.
