Well its time to leave Zurich and head south to Interlaken. Its a beautiful blue sky day.
The train ride to Interlaken takes 3 hours. The scenery is stunning to say the least. Lush green valleys, snow capped mountains, turquoise coloured lakes. I wish it took longer than 3 hours, as i was thoroughly enjoying the scenery.

Our stay in Lucerne was brief, but the city truly captured our hearts. This WILL be a place we will return to. So, after another wonderful breakfast buffet full of Swiss goodies, we started our trek to Interlaken, Switzerland. On our walk back to the train station, we walked through a vibrant farmer's market and gave a "we'll be seeing you" wave to the nearby Chapel Bridge.

After that I found a door that opened out onto a trail with rope railings that led off into the surrounding mountain. It was warm at the doorway, but the outside appeared to be total whiteout conditions with blizzard force winds.
