    Now there's really not too much to say about caves. Good pictures are difficult to capture, especially when flash photography is banned and you don't have stuff like wide-angle lenses and The like.
    Once you've used up words like awesome, astounding and majestic then you're left with anthropomorphising a bunch of rocks.

    ... at Predil then swoop back down the Soca Valley to Kobarid and another night of camping at Kamp Koren (rapidly becoming an old haunt for me, this is my 5th visit).

    ... was not apparent until we had driven through the toll booth to collect our ticket and by then it was too late to go back so we had to drive about 15 miles down the motorway the wrong way. This was frustrating in itself but when we came to an exit where we were able to turn around there was a problem with our ticket not being recognised by the machine and the help button not being very helpful.     ... to Rami as it was very scary for those afraid of heights. The lighting was subtle and not overdone or coloured as in some caves you visit. Unfortunately there was a group of students from New York and one in particular was very vocal about how boring it was. During the guide's explanations they were having conversations and playing hand clapping games. It is no wonder that American tourists have a bad reputation in many parts of the world.

    ... and then to top it off the guy wore his kayaking helmet during the entire drive to the putting in point. The distance in inches between his ears was obviously far greater than his IQ. This was confirmed when he asked "Am I going to get wet?". No mate you're going kayaking and it's a totally dry sport!!! Spare me. I reckon passport control has a lot to answer for, both outbound from the States and at the local port of entry.
