8 The road to wherever 28-09-15 Utia de Borz to Stelvio
today may not have been as exciting as yesterday but I sure headed over a
number of passes in the wonderful Alps and better still I finally managed to
get right over the magnificent Gavia pass and onwards to Bormio.

... I got here today to TIrano. I expected just a small stopover town since this is where the Bernina Express ends but it is a lovely little town. It is almost 5:30 so I doubt I will get any pictures; however, I can tell you we had a lovely lunch of fish with what else but two scoops of gelato ( not at the same time-lol) Two hours in Italy and we are already hitting the gelato counter - works for me!!! ...
