drive up to the pass, which was pretty special but the pass itself is
spectacular. Very tight hairpins, getting tighter & steeper as we got
higher & magnificent scenery (You’re getting bored now aren’t you?) It

It was a bit cloudy and in the afternoon we got caught in a quick thunderstorm. Every flash of lighting high up at the top of the mountains was shortly followed by a crack of thunder that would echo through the valley like a pin ball, bouncing back and fourth.
