There is constant discussion of the places Francesco needs to take me to eat and the dishes I need to try - and by discussion I do mean friendly and fiery debates!

... ourselves smell less human, we head out for an apperitivo at a friend's bar. The Bicicletta (prosecco and campari) goes down amazingly well and Francesco gets his first copa of the trip - copa and all the other cured pork products have been haunting his dreams since we booked the tickets. We follow it up with lunch at a local pizzeria and end with caffe and a Cavallo (small glass of Montenegro).
