... played songs on an accordion all night while the locals sang along to the songs. We then went to Peter's Brauhaus which was filled with people dressed for the carnival. The beer there was amazing. After Peter's we went to the local kebab shop and had a yufkta and the guy actually baked the bread on the spot for us. ... airport and I felt at ease until I got inside the airport, the plan was to catch a train into Dusseldorf HBF but finding the train station at the airport was a challenge due to me getting confused with the signs around the airport, I think it was me rather than the poor signage. After working out how to purchase a train ticket at the machine I boarded the train for a 25 min journey, eventually I arrived at the HBF ...

Underwear – debatable… Depends what you are wearing over the top i.e. short skirt – please wear some undies… Leggings – up to you to decide. I personally try to avoid wearing underwear as much as possible… After all I’m travelling to be free!

Socks – If you don’t wear them your shoes will get stinky in no time. Also changing socks can make you feel nice ...
