... Bruce off and found the on ramp for our ferry. Got on and over to Villa San Giovanni. Had a terrible drive north in the storms but booked into the lovely Italian Hotels in Cosenza. Clean, comfortable and safe parking, now a nice dinner and a good nights sleep. ... realized Rob was in 29C and I was in 42K on the Rome/Toronto leg of the trip. The extremely rude Alitalia agent blamed our travel agent and rudely dismissed us by rudely saying there was nothing she could do (did I mention she was rude?).

I went to the beach today as all my cousins were there and it is our last opportunity to go as tomorrow will be spent packing and visiting. The ocean was quite calm and it's registering about 37 C. today so the beach was very crowded. Lunch at the house was a scattered affair as everyone arrived back at various times and some ate before hand or weren't eating until later.
