... the plausiblility of buying some, but I regretfully walked away empty handed. We then tried Maple Syrup Ice Cider. This was probably the quintessential example that you can have too much of a good thing. It was sickly and overpowering. The two things should not be mixed!

We visited a cathedral and a stunning basilica, where a nervous tour guide apologised in advance for her English, and then spoke the language better than I can.

... intensely about our stay in Montreal and especially our stay in the States. After a ten-minute conversation with the border lady we were good to go. The rest of the journey was rather flawless, besides the rain showers and heavy storm we encountered the last two hours before arriving in Boston. We entered the gates of Boston College at 10 pm, satisfied and happy to be home safe.

From here we headed up into the Mont Royal Park which is a large hill, summit at 233 meters, which affords great views of the city. We climbed and climbed, made our way up stairs and eventually made our way to a viewing balcony and took some great shots of the Montreal skyline (see photos). ... weren't clearing we went for a run through the main park in Quebec City. The park is an escarpment that sits on the steep edge of the old town. It's really pretty with leafy paths and considering all the rain it was just beautiful with all the trees and leaves glistening with fresh water. It was only about 9 degrees and our hands were pretty cold running. Luckily our bodies warmed up quickly. We ran through the park and around the citadelle then returned. It was pretty ...
