... and the Canadian dollar are virtually equal in value, but the Canadians don't want our US dollars, which meant we needed to go to a bank to exchange US dollars into Canadian. We had to act quickly because the banks would be closing within the hour. The folks at the RV Camp told us of a bank in the nearest town.

We went inside and tried to find ourselves the best position. We had a look up at the balcony, but all the chairs were taken, so we went back downstairs and ended up getting a spot at the front of the bar section just behind the mosh pit, where we could also sit on the railing. Perfect!

... unfortunately; whilst ladies are supposed to glow rather than sweat, I’m afraid there was no other word for what we were all doing as we walked to the bank and then the bus stop in the sweltering heat. We took solace in the bank and experienced the bliss of air-conditioning before heading out to face the hot summer once again; Claire said next week is meant to be the most unbearable week of the summer, fun times.
