Saturday we got up early to catch the train from Avignon Centre to the larger Avignon TGV station about ten minutes away. Juan-les-Pins was a popular place for writers during the Jazz Age and still has an annual jazz festival in July. We passed a park where many jazz and some rock artists had performed, but no shows were scheduled while we were there. I've posted the signed handprints in the sidewalk of some I recognized.
