... had views over Monte Carlo and Monaco, then took a bus ride around both. The super yachts are incredible, as are the Bentleys, Porsche's, Ferrari and the odd Lamborghini. The tack for the race was well set up with grand stands on one side of the track and super yachts backed up to the other side at one part. The other life. ... t understand all of the race tactics involved it was fun to watch.

Dinner at La Maison de Marie was one of the best we have had. It is tucked into a courtyard off a busy tourist street and the decor, the food and the service were very good. This was the recommendation from the front desk staff and once again has proved to be a good way of finding an excellent restaurant.

... time we saw a porsche parked on an intersection in the back area, sticking out across half the street! Either it's a hired car or they're so rich they don't care if it gets hit.

We couldn't find much along the beach area so made our way back to the hotel. Most places were starting to finish the food side of things. Eventually we found a subway and that satisfied our hunger pangs. We took dinner back to the hotel and once we'd finished we hit the sack. ...

... Art – again we had free entry. We made our way straight to the top to enjoy the panoramic views of the city. We took a million pictures and scoped out various landmarks and sites we should visit. The cemetery on top of the hill with the various statutes peaking through the trees, and the various markets down below.
