    ... the 12th/13th/14 th Century was excellent – lots of madonnas, San Sebastians and alter pieces. It made us realize we haven't seen enough art yet other than in Churches – will do.     ... door. We took a minute to rest and take in the beautiful views and then checked in. We had some pizza in the hostel cafe and then Bryce and the kids explored a bit to see what the town was like. We are all very excited about tomorrow! We found out that the vineyard hike, which comes recommended by Rick, is literally right outside our door. Now off to bed, so we can rise early and enjoy our day in the Cinque Terre.

    ... compartment open to show that absolutely nothing is in the car. We also managed to stop by a post office to mail two postcards. We were shocked to see that it cost us 3.80 Euros for two postcards! I was also quite surprised to learn that I was forbidden to take photos in the post office.
