      ... local supermarket and the fruit and vege shop. you have to put on a plastic glove to choose your fruit and veges and their choices are very basic, not spoilt like we are!       ... heard one guy singing Italian opera; he was pretty good though. Again, this is for everyone, not just those in parade. The whole town turns out to watch and swarm around and through the parade itself. People were shaking hands and kissing those on the carriages, horses were patted, photos taken.
