I got here on Thursday and have been here for 4 nights now. On Friday morning, I made the obligatory pilgrimage to the canal, of course! Luckily, we made it in time to see the last ship pass through the Miraflores Locks that morning. The process of lowering and raising the water levels and opening the locks took about 30 minutes.
