Heute morgen ging es mit dem Bus bei schönstem Sonnenschein und kalten Winden nach Corralejo,um dann eine Buggytour zu starten.
Vorbei an den Vulkanen mit grossartigen Ausblicken auf die karge Landschaft.

I was trying to decide between Malta and the Canary Islands for my vacation, as I could get cheap flights from Ireland to both destinations (way to go Ryanair!!) I went with the Canary Islands because I did some research online and found out that the Canaries´ weather was more consistently hot and Malta was experiencing their rainy season. Living the quiet life

Life here is very gentle and the neighbours are friendly although recently there have been a number of changes as people move on, and the complex is almost empty. I am not sure how much of this is a result of the financial situation in Spain. ...

... taking a look at the harbour, when Kerry saw us and waved us into a vacant berth in the marina. It was good to see him and catch up as we last saw him in Gibraltar. We were intending to anchor off that night as the pilot book warned of extreme "katabatic" winds in this marina, but things always look better after a landing beer or two, and as it turned out it was perfectly calm.
