a 3 hour train ride and we arrive at our destination Fresnoy en Bassigny and meet the couple we will spend the next 2 weeks with.. they are pleasant and welcoming. Dominique collects us in the van and he talks with Michael in french (which is better than i thought so I'm happy) and i sit there like a plonka and learn 'oui' yes as a start. Michael carries on chatting but says 'sim' instead....

Steve, Christine, the neighbor, and the new bull owner went into the field to herd all of the cattle towards the road with the intention that the bull and all of the rest of the cattle would walk down the short road and go towards the barn.
