This morning we arrived in Monaco and due to high winds the ship had to anchor out in the bay, requiring shore tenders. Our day started with a highlights of Monaco tour, along with many old people *argh* We began at the Oceanographic Museum which was run by Jacques Cousteau for 30 years until 1988. From there we walked past the residence of Princess Caroline and onto the St Nicholas Cathedral where Grace Kelly ...

... grand auditorium where they play films during the film festival and walked along all the handprints of different actors. Saw Cameron Diaz, Michael Douglas, and Whoopi Goldberg etc. We then grabbed a spot on the beautiful sandy beach and ate our lunch and tanned. ... trains lined up as if parked side by side. This is a good thing. Run like mad.

Train still there. Jump on carriage one with lots of people from our train. Proceed to walk through carriages to carriage nine where our seats are booked. There is luggage in corridors and people sitting on little fold out seats. So we cannot wheel our cases. I am moving forward carrying smaller bags. Jack and Maddie carry there own and Tim has his and mine.

Happy 50th Birthday Mom! This morning we woke up at about 9am, packed and ate breakfast before checking out of the hostel. Our plan for the day is to go to Monacco and Cap d'ail before leaving Nice. We got to the train station at about 11:15 and realized that the train for Monaco doesnt leave until 12:25 so we found a restaurant and just ordered some drinks to kill some time. We rented a locker in the train station for us to put all of our stuff ...
