Paul did extremely well with the traffic, also 'peak hour' in Nice and with no line markings in many places due to the roadworks. Ugh! Not to mention the fact that Gwynney took us down one road and at the end was a locked gate. Needless to say that the road was barely one lane wide and Paul had to manoeuvre the car back out. All was calm though.

The public baths had 4 or 5 rooms, a heating and ventilation system, and an area with running water to remove human waste. The 4 or 5 rooms were a specific order of a cold water room, hot water, and sauna. I don't remember what the 4th and 5th rooms were for.

... climb a hill for a better look while I went and did the hard work of sitting in a small cafe having prawns and wine overlooking the marina with the odd boat or two in it.

Then hooked up again and went to a park near the Matisse museum and an archaeological museum. I went to look at some art while Leon did the ruins bit. Both free entry which was nice. I emerged from ...

... were full of porsches, BMW’s, Lamborginis and other flash cars. We walked down to the port of Monaco and admired all those very very flash yachts. We felt very poor walking around this amazingly rich city. The yachts were incredible, massive ones that well excuse me had several smaller yachts parked in the “garage” in the guts of the bigger yacht. Well Troy was enjoying it. We had lunch with the best view overlooking the entire Monaco ...

... calmed down for us. We didn't need any excursions for this trip, just wanted to walk around and see everything we could see in the short time alotted to us (last tender back to the ship was 15:30). Rick and Kiwani (the couple we met on the train) came with us in the morning we walked up to the top of Monaco to the palace. From their we could see the Kart Race that was going on at the Monte Carlo F1 track. Those have to be the quickest go-carts I've seen.
