      ... further into the downtown we found a large market hall seething with people doing their Saturday shopping. The usual suspect fruits and vegetables (including some I could not recognize) were being sold, as well as what seemed like stall after stall, each stocked full flowers - until I discovered that they were artificial.

      ... on board was asked to get off and she was never seen again!!!.. not sure what happened to her, but if she was deported - I guess they must have just walked her back across the border line (?)... An hour later at about 2am, when we were trying to sleep, we were again stopped by French customs. A sniffer dog then came bounding down the bus attaching its nose to everything in sight.       ... calmed down for us. We didn't need any excursions for this trip, just wanted to walk around and see everything we could see in the short time alotted to us (last tender back to the ship was 15:30). Rick and Kiwani (the couple we met on the train) came with us in the morning we walked up to the top of Monaco to the palace. From their we could see the Kart Race that was going on at the Monte Carlo F1 track. Those have to be the quickest go-carts I've seen.
