      ... we finished.

Dutton Estates was next on the agenda, we used our free sample card their and had a terrific Syrah wine. It was also a nice setting and we enjoyed the wine but they would not negotiate on their price at $40 a bottle. Too bad it was a good wine.

By this time I was feeling the effects of the wine even though I only sampled a small amount, less than half a glass but ...

Pier 39 is also a lovely area that has a British seaside feel to it. Why would anyone from Britain want to experience the British seaside, I hear you cry!? Think nostalgic seaside memories, with fish and chips, seagulls and sea lions. Okay, the last one you wouldn't find too often in Britain unless you headed to somewhere like Blakeney Point in Norfolk but this is a star attraction in San Fran.
