... flight, although Cat had a lucky escape as she was nearly caught in a conversation with an evangelical christian preacher (rescued by her kindle). The taxi ride from the airport into the Inner Sunset area of San Fran was fairly amusing. The taxi driver remained in silence for the first 15 minutes of the ride, and then, all of sudden, became incredibly animated and described, in detail, everywhere in California he had been and where we should ...

... After around a one hour towards ride i thought of returning to have some food at HillStone restaurant. Riding all the way in between the streets, dodging the cars and signals and also stopping at places to take good scenic pictures, i rode my way to Union Square via the mission and market street. It was altogether a different facet of the city that i haven't seen. The place was filled ...

          Arrived at last State Side

A travel blog entry by chevs_abroad on Aug 01, 2015

We arrived in San Francisco more or less on time, but were them subjected to the customary greeting afforded to most non US visitors - over an hours wait in immigration. We frantically tried to shorten the wait by dodging from queue to queue but that only made our plight worse - managing to be the very last passengers from an entire jumbo jet to clear immigration (and so conceding the final leg of our little competition to the Stevies).
