... yanked off any day! Johnna went back to the room to recover from the treatment while Sue and I returned to the pharmacy for some additional medication recommended by the therapist. We are hopeful that after a good night's rest she will be up to doing a little tour of Leon. It was cool and cloudy today with a bit of rain this afternoon. It is a lovely reprieve from the heat. After struggling with knowing so little Spanish the past month, communicating in French seemed nearly as easy as English. ... We couldn't find the convent where we had planned to get them, but the cathedral staff helpfully suggested and alternative, the HI hostel that was only a few minutes away, and showed us the route on our map. After getting the passports we continued on our tourist walk around Leon, stopping to admire the Parador (which was well and truly outside our budget, even for one night). ...
