I did´n get to see munch of Madrid exept the metro system. Went to the airport to straighten things with Air Comet/AeroMexico and then back to the train station. Quite tiring.
But Trini was so nice, a perfect host !
Leon is a nice middle-sized city with a beautifull cathedral and narrow streets typical from spain, and of course a good nightlife. I went out this night with Ruth (Trini´s daughter) and her friends, and had a great time !
I like spain, I´ll be back next year.

<p style="font:bold 23px/24px arial, sans-serif;letter-spacing ...
León, Castilla y Leon, Spain doctorhugo... weight onto your hip bones, and takes it off of your shoulders. It was a rather painful walk to the hostal, with all the weight on my shoulders. This could really suck if I can't find a replacement!

Luckily Ana, the owner of the hostal, was able to direct me to a store that might have the clip I needed. We also had a brief chat about the economy in Spain - she's noticed a sharp decline in the number of guests at her hostal this year ...
León, Castile-León, Spain and Canary Islands pwongI took the train... So between the last stop and Leon there is pretty much nothing. So when I arrived in Sahagun, I decided to fastforward things a bit. Afterall, I figured out what I will do now with my time when the walk ends. Unfortunately, in life, none of us are albe to fast forward to the future or rewind to the past. However, if life is the camino in 35 days or more, this is possible. Its ...

Vega de Valcarce, Galicia, Spain lindalequesne... them knew who's cat just had kittens. We got lost trying to get there though and had to ask directions, which just got us even more lost! Finally, they called the girl and she came and got us and brought us to her apartment. The kittens are so cute! They are only about a month old though so we didn't take one yet. I think she wants to wait about another week or two. So that was pretty much my interesting day.
Leon, Spain and Canary Islands southamerica4hi... about James 1 and 2 today. I learned that favoritism isn't just bad manners, it is against God's Law! It goes against "love your neighbor as yourself" since everyone is your neighbor you should love everyone equally, as yourself. I also read that faith without works is dead. I had always heard that but I also knew that salvation is not ...
León, Spain southamerica4hi... from Munich, his hometown, or to ride a bike, and then walk a different camino to santiago, the coastal Camino del Norte. As a man though his time walking is not done. Neither is Jeff and Robert and I´s, even though after 56 days -- today is the beginning of our ninth week! -- i think that Jeff and I are ready to finish. The meseta is the part of the camino we are walking on, until Astorga, 70 miles away or so, or about four days more, and it has been a tough part. Not ...
