... concert. Listening to the organ echoing in the enormous cathedral while admiring one of the most beautiful stained glass windows was priceless. I personally think Bach pieces are one of the most difficult - especially for the precision required by the player. Ton Koopman, the player, was excellent. He played 10 pieces plus a couple of encores.

Had a bonus this afternoon as I spoke via Viber to Troy Romilly and Ximena and later to Jill at length. It's dinner time and still pouring outside. ... authentic Romanesque murals from the 11th century. We also saw the Mozarab Bible from the 10th century. It was a hand written bible by two monks. Next we saw the Cathedral of Leon, a Gothic style structure with outstanding stained glass windows.
