Calzadilla De Los Hermanillos to Leon - 24.5 kms walk (+ 18.6 kms on bus) So....what should have been an early start, began with breakfast at 8am and on the road by 8.50. Not too bad. ... in my notepad, and basically just relishing the 'me' time. By about the 8 km mark I was starving and needed a loo so my focus shifted between the two. There was no village on the horizon, and trust me the horizon is extremely visible given the flatness of the terrain. So head down and push on was all I could do. Our feet were sore after 20km when we came across a cafe at Religious plus a loud Canadian we have been trying to avoid since we first her met nearly three weeks ago. She is like a bad penny.
