... Casa and spent the afternoon finalizing our remaining schedule and calling ahead to make all reservations. We were both hungry much earlier than Spanish dinner time so we walked back to the grocery for food which we enjoyed eating in the outdoor courtyard of the Casa. Day 19 of the Camino Another cold day although thankfully not as bad as yesterday. Had a simple but nice continental style breakfast at the albergue before leaving. The scenery was pretty unremarkable as the route continued to follow a track alongside a secondary road. In Spain even the secondary roads that might see only a handful of vehicles are far better than some of the major roads in QLD. Don't know how they manage it. We had ...

... so off to bed and get that whip cracking early.

Oh........and I've had to pull my belt in on my pants to a place it's never been. It's ok at 55kgs so I am a little concerned. Will wear shirt out now, pants looks like they're too big if it's tucked in *laugh*. Can't believe! I'm eating 3 times normal including massive carbed food, because that's all you can get, 1-2 bottles of wine per day and still dropping weight. Should level itself out soon. ...

... She just stood here and ate it and clearly this is something she does a lot. Didn't look like she needed any excess food *laughing*. But golly gosh it WAS funny.

Upside of all of this we were still there at 10pm when they turn the lights on the cathedral. Lovely to see. Then bed, glorious bed in my big bed, with real sheets, butt naked, comfortable bed. Sleep wonderful blissful sleep!

Took the bus out of Leon today and stArted the Camino again.  We took the longer route as it is the scenic one. Most people walk along the highway. Another beautiful day to walk. Not many peregrinos on this route as we started at 0815 We are now over the 200 km mark. We have about 270 km to go.  We are undecided how far to walk as there are either long distances between places or short spurts. Our plan was to walk between 15- 20 km / day. We could ...
