These caves are used to store stuff or are workspaces for mechanics, wood workers and even serve as a store for local wines. These people are very ingenious when it comes to their space utilization. Natural unspoiled hot spring. Free for the taking. Tiered layers of hot springs and waterfalls.
      Mostly Italians there. Delightful.

Beautiful, small, a jewel of a medieval town. Two other tourists there. Wandered the streets.
      Perfect.

Gatta Morena (GM) is, or at least was, a B+B that I have stayed at several times, on my own and also with friends (see earlier blogs). It is located about an hour north of Rome up the west coast of Italy (closest little towns are Cellere and Canino) and about equidistance between the Mediterranean coast and Lake Bolsena which are both less than a half hour away. And while GM is on a hillside out in the country, as a B+B it was a perfect spot ...
