Here I am. My new blog but now about my life as an Au Pair in America.
In about 9 days I leave this beautiful country named the Netherlands. The countdown is started yiehaaa.

Picture folks at the Bean Tree, at 10am, having a glass of beer or wine; so civilized. Although the Euro exchange rate is knocking me around a little, comparatively, food and drinks etc are quite cheap. We do live in the best country on the planet, but, we pay for it.

... many miles on the tram and underground, the lady on reception explained where to get on and off the tram and the timetable (every 20 mins) the station was only 5 mins walk from the hotel front door and a tram was waiting to depart when I got there.

... saved time queuing, the baggage check in was very easy and automated, the machine weighed the bad then printed out a label to attach and off it went down the conveyer belt. Passport control went smoothly too and this gave me plenty of time for a coffee and relax before the flight, up to now it was going just fine and I was enjoying my little adventure.
