... go back the road I have just come and head up on a rather kind of island area and take a ferry across a short section of water. No ways was I doing that when for a few extra km there is a direct road.
The road from here is the long and twisty coast road. If there is any single km which is straight then that is long. it is simply curve after curve and in this wet weather is extremely hard work.

... places but hey it was clean and for one night it would do. We hadn't eaten a proper meal since that morning and we were starving! The guy at the reception gave us directions to a takeaway place that sold burek. Basically burek looks like a slice of pie but it's savoury and the outside is puff pastry with meat inside it. We arrived in the parking lot at 9.40 and ...
A fab sail up the 17 miles with the wind just dieing as we pulled into Punat to have a look around before going of to Krk main town for the evening. A great safe bay with monastry and marina , worth noting for return trip! On arrival in Krk we drop anchor outside to test if safe but end up picking it up and heading onto town quay as think we may go out and have few beers whilst inspecting the old town. Another lovely old town and good ...
