... route than expected. The bridge was only about 20 or so km away but now its taking me on two motorways, what the hell??
Anyway I followed its route and sure enough it got me to this wonderful old bridge where I stopped and took a few photos. On approach to this bridge was a large sign saying "cafe ahead, open"!! Yes I thought, its time for coffee.
Sure enough the door was open but the cafe was closed. However the chap was there chatting to two ...
... so he just got some veggie soup which he loved. Seeing as Split is on the water and they have lots of fresh seafood I decided to get the seafood risotto. OMG! It was spectacular! A fab sail up the 17 miles with the wind just dieing as we pulled into Punat to have a look around before going of to Krk main town for the evening. A great safe bay with monastry and marina , worth noting for return trip! On arrival in Krk we drop anchor outside to test if safe but end up picking it up and heading onto town quay as think we may go out and have few beers whilst inspecting the old town. Another lovely old town and good ...
