Easy flight with Easyjet, arriving a bit early at 13.05. The owner of our B & B picked us up at the airport as taxis are impossible to find. The traffic was a nightmare for such a small island. Only 5 rooms in the B & B and not quite as billed on booking.com but very pleasant and with a lovely terrace overlooking the windmills and sea just across from our room. Beautiful sunset and a great meal at a fish taverna to start the holiday. Weather is hot and sunny for ...

... island an it's off to santorini for 2 nights. A cool nice chilled island, rent quad bikes an tour around. First sunset at a wine bar, one of the best I've seen an I've seen a few! See red beach, go to the local brewery naturally an drink some donkey beer, check out fira an some nice nice meals! Good relaxing times. Then a 7 hour ferry home, an sadly time to say goodbye to the two Hannah's, baretis an Dougy. Back to the crew of 6, an jake hasn't been broken into! ...

... so new and interesting. Finally Chris asked a man on the street if there was a bank. He shook his head that he didn't know then called up to a second story window where another man was cooking something. He too shrugged. Finally, Chris found a man who understood his question. He replied: "We are poor here in Paros, you have to go to Parikia to find bank."That is what we did and after another thirty minutes we finally made it to Punda just in time to drive directly ...

... not a castle as we would know it, this one had been created using marble pillars and stones from other ancient structured. Not what you would expect as a castle but nonetheless interesting. No doubt if we had joined the tour we would have heard more about both the church and the castle. It's time to head back to the ship, relax a while before our Greek dinner on board this evening complete with Greek Music and dancers.
