Paradise Found
... We had the point totally to ourselves to watch the sun go down, then braved the rocks back to the beach and strolled down to a restaurant for some delicious burgers. At a toilet stop along the way Matt dropped the camera and the LCD screen broke, but luckily the electronic view finder still worked fine! ... over boulders and up the rocky hillside following white arrows painted on the rocks thinking that not everyone could possibly follow this route. It wasn't that difficult and the views of town and the port were definitely worth the effort. Once at the top I was able to easily follow a paved pathway down the hill back through Ios Town but I think they intentionally don't mark the route so people wander.

The Magnificient and Nice
We pulled ourselves from the pleasures of Naxos to go to the island of Santorini. It wasn't something we had planned to do as Santorini didn't really interest us much but a couple from our pension did a quick 24-hour trip there and said it can't be missed so we decided to check out of Naxos and go to Santorini for our last three days in Greece.
Santorini is only a 2-hour ferry ride from Naxos and the ride was beautiful--sunny weather and smooth ...
