    Today the a pad woke me up at 6 30 am. Elisabeth skyped me, Jonas my son was there too. The video which is used this days, probably was not to helpfull, to hide my sleepiness .

    The last seven days - were the most relaxing and heart warming days of the trip. Days were spent in Biel, Switzerland with Liz's family. Uncle Mike, Auntie Maria, Sarah and Noah oh and Chica (the dog) - could not have asked for better hosts.

    What a nice Swiss town…the capital in fact! Yes, but I guess like the Swiss it's an unassuming place. Nothing magnificent or grand here but boy is it picturesque, both inside and around. I don’t know if it’s worth making a big trip for (especially after my experience there haha) BUT if you find yourselves in Bern for a day…even a couple hours…it is a really nice place to see.

    ... track attached to the side of the mountain, metres above a raging torrent fed by numerous waterfalls.

    It was a unique experience for Jo and us to have locals with whom to dine. No longer the awkward exchanges, misunderstandings and primitive pointing and grunting (well, perhaps that's just me). We now had locals who could pick nice places to eat, describe exactly what we were ordering and even crack a joke with the waiter.

    We were warned Switzerland ...
