We planned a 50 mile trip today and in the normal order of things we would have set off quite early. However, the facilities here had a timelock on them, being closed from 23:00 to 07:00. Our morning ablutions then couldn't start until after 07:00 and in fact, in my case it was much later as I chatted to the 3 friendly Swedish gentlemen who were having coffee in the kitchen area of the facilities. It’s very welcoming and civilized ...

The boys had Ice Hockey training today. We went down and watched them, really made me wish that I could have done it while I was growing up it looks like so much fun. Later that day we got to try it out. We borrowed some skates and went down to the local rink, all I can say is that it is not as easy as the kids make it look. While I know how to skate, trying to get the puck and keep it is another ...
... a drive on the island, toe dip in Swedish seas, a banging cheese fondu, walks through town and an evening at new tapas bar which was full of life. All in all three nights full of laughter, chats and giggles. Best of all they are set to move to Australia in six weeks so we shall look forward to more frequent get togethers in the ...
