... time on our trip our hosts are cooking for us and provide a 4 course traditional dinner. First up was zucchini and tomato soup - very nice. Now if I was to see Sausages and Lentils on a menu it would probably be the last thing I would order, however this is what was for main and it was surprisingly good. Originally meant as an overnight stop for us on the way to Conques, it turned out that Le Puy had quite a lot to offer. We arrived on the first day of their "Fete du Roi des Oiselles"' or festival of the king of arrows, apparently something to do with archery in medieval times. Many city people dressed in period ...

... que c’est la toute première cascade que je vois d’aussi près! On recevait des petits embruns sur le visage, c’était très agréable ! On s’est donc posé sur un rocher tout proche pour manger nos sandwichs. Quel beau cadre ! Il paraît qu’il y’a des cascades encore plus jolies dans les Alpes ou les Pyrénées …il faudra que j’aille faire une petite virée par là-bas.

En redescendant, c’était un peu ...
