Was rushing while writing in the Office de Tourisme as they were about to close, but now at the bar where we are having a beer, there is excellent wifi, so will add a bit more detail. It was such a beautiful day. Cool - 10° - when we set out from our little town perched on the side of a hill, but we soon heated up with the energetic walking. The first two-thirds ...

... late as thought it was 7.30, but heard all the hustle and bustle, so came in time for the entree which was - yes again - lentil salad, and a delicious seafoody terrine. We were SO lucky as after that no one without a reservation got in! We had ...

... all is taken care of. And tomorrow we have a day of leisure to explore Le Puy. We didn't arrive till 7 pm, so didn't explore tonight. Too tired to think of any more, but love the comments! For Paul and Sue will include more food photos, and yes, Sue, it is better than blisters and bedbugs.....And I was very touched with Peter's and Simon's sympathies and concerns for Amr's hat loss!! And yes Jess, we are having lots of chances to practice our ...

Journey home part 1 :(

A travel blog entry by siandlorna on Aug 12, 2015

... grass pitches! We had a few cheeky San Migels before hitting the pool to cool off. Tonight we sampled the on site restaurant- si had a steak (looked like horse) and I had chicken- it was really nice and not doing dishes was even better! I washed it all down with a €1.20 glass of rose! Bargain! Few more drinks at the van and an early night the weather is cooler so we should have a good night sleep! Night ...
