      ... It drizzled rain right through this 6km long gorge but the sky was clear when we exited the northern end! PM - Had lunch here in Skalni Mlyn, a scungy hot dog with mustard, not a good choice!       ... of the town! Boy we were buggered by the time we got into the Galant Hotel at 6pm, 83 kilometres on a hot day, bit tough for the first day! But we don't leave here till 11am tomorrow morning so can have a look around, we get a car ride to nearby Drnholec to start tomorrow's ride.       ... and tomorrow. I went to the supermarket to get Cream but as nothing is written in English I returned with Sour Cream and was immediately sent back to get Whipped Cream. I did manage to find it however – not a popular item for the locals.

      ... many disco techs in town one evening. Located in what felt like the catacombs of a building, it was interesting to wind my way around the dance club, well below the city streets. I was also introduced to a very nasty tasting liquor that evening known as Slivovitz...tasting like diesel fuel with a burn like no other I doubt I would be trying this traditional Czech Liquor again.
