The brochure that came with the tickets said the site "flourished from the 10th. century BC ..." ie over 12,000 years ago, as a major religious, cultural and sporting site for the region. So it's certainly ancient and their sense of sport extended to human sacrifices in honour of the gods, according to the signage on one monument we passed. The site was largely rubble but still worth us seeing it and we could visualise what might ...

... help of SPF15 he lay in the sun for over three hours, sleeping in between the noise of officers -v- passengers volleyball and the piped and live music. As would be assumed on a non shore day when it's hot and sunny, the pool decks were full of people until late in the afternoon. And unlike our last cruise, the pool water is a pleasant temperature, just cool enough to be refreshing without being cold. Ang made a slower start to the day and dozed in bed and watched ...
