Walked half way up table mountain today with Jenny,great views over Haut bay and surrounding mountains. There is a track that leads up from the back of the house through a pine forest onto the mountain similar to New Zealand.
Dok picked me up at 1 o'clock and we went straight of to the pub, met his family ...

We walked for about a minute, and I came to realize that the house where I am living was, ironically, right across the parking lot from where I had stayed the night before... ha.

... in Oudtshoorn. I was adopted by a girl who i was doing the dive course with and promptly put up by her and her parents, fed, taxied and around and shown all the sights and sounds of the KKLK art, music, food and market festival. There was so much to see and do and we even fitted in a girly evening of food and cocktails with her girlfriend. This was lovely but made me miss all my lovely ladies back home more than ever. ... in the sun I went to work out again at five. This time my roommate from Kruger had the elliptical beside me so it was fun to get to work out together. I signed up to workout with her and her roommate Audrey tomorrow at the same time so it should be fun again tomorrow. At seven I went to Heather's volleyball game but unfortunately they lost. It was really a game of luck and who picked the best side of the court because the wind made the game ...

... didn't dissapoint. We drove through, around and past spectacular mountains with a gorgeous coastline unlike anything I've seen before. The beaches looked pristine. I was so very tired and I also had to wait a few hours to have a pre-trip meeting that I didn't go into the town itself. I'll have plenty of time to do that later. Today was the day of the Fam Dam. Esther hosted everyone from her side of the family for a lunch...Benny, Rica, Kettie, all of Esther's nieces and nephews, as well as some of the cousins from my side...Philip, Adele, Selwyn etc. I said hellos to everyone, then hung out with Stace, Mon, and Craig. I did a very terrible thing...got them ...

... Well, Tomorrow is the final countdown. It's my last day in Africa. Here's how it will go: 11:30-4:00 - Cape Town to Johannesburg 7:00pm-7:30am - Johannesburg to Atlanta 9:00am-11:15am - Atlanta to Dallas 3:45pm-6:00pm - Dallas to Chicago 7:50 - 10:30 - Chicago to Cleveland ...Then I get to see my wonderful family for the first time in 2 months! I am not looking forward to 36 hours of flying, but I am eager to return home. The journey is still unfolding. More to come.
