... with our bags, as we passed through most of the town centre an shopping area, and by the lovely strip of park they have running through town. We were very pleased to find our accommodation though, and after meeting our lovely host (who spoke mostly French, good opportunity to revisit what I learnt in school!) we relaxed on the bed for a bit. The room was on a mezzanine area in the apartment, and had an ensuite and a lovely big skylight. It was very roomy after our ...

... out of a picture showing exactly where to catch the train, so I could spy it easily from out on the water. It was HOT today, boys were whining big time. More amazing super yachts though, so we wandered ...

closed, so the large shopping centre across the road beckoned. We just managed
to find some pasta before last orders at 8pm (on a Saturday night!) at a cafe.
The centre closed at 9.00. The food was delicious but I think they saw us
coming and when we asked for a glass of red wine we were offered a very nice
Californian burgundy – at a price we found out when we ...

... work after starting my morning like that was quite easy, putting a smile on my face for the rest of the day. I had to work our first two days in Nice but did go out the first night. I intended to head for the train station to meet up with Kate and Stephan who had left for Antibes, a town about half an hour away, earlier while I finished up with work. After about 20 minutes of walking and the sunlight beginning to fade I ran into Steve and Chris and decided it was a ...
