    ... out we'd been upgraded to a deluxe room, which we soon found out meant climbing up a ladder into the roof to get to the bed - we've been told this is typical in many apartments and homes in Holland (so we were happy we were living like the locals for two days or so).     ... was a bit of a downer but we were all prepared with brollies so it wasn’t too bad. We ambled along in the rain with Nico and Else pointing out places of interest along the way until we stopped at a very nice bar – full of people but we managed to find stools at the bar.
