    Today was a very 'Dutch' day, in that there was a van Kessel family gathering at Oom Henk and Tante Frieda's place in Abcoude. The remaining members of 'the old guard' turned up (aunts and uncles), and some 'jonge lui' (young people) as our generation was referred to, were also present.     ... even a city as it has never been given 'city rights', so technically it's just a big town. On our last day, we went out to Kinderdijk to visit the 19 windmills from the 18th century. It's hard to get a photo of all 19 in one shot, but we got some good shots of 4 or 5 of them in a row.

    That's our trip in a nutshell! Enjoy the photos. Oh and we quickly did Rotterdam in the afternoon before getting on the train back to Paris. xxx
