      ... which was heaving with people and very noisy. Lovely food though and a very good atmosphere. We decided against going on to another bar afterwards as we were a bit tired so they escorted us ‘home’ again.

      ... when I say sketchy this was beyond measure. Our hostel was divided up into different buildings, so we checked in, in one building and then went to another to sleep. We stayed in a room of 7 GTLers so that was nice.
      The next morning we went on a Canal tour. We got to see the city and learn more about the history and significance of different buildings.

      Our trip was sweet and short! :)

      but the crew were fantastic. They were very hard working but also so
      friendly. The entertainment system was great too, we had a choice of
      over a hundred films and CD's (I even found a David Grey CD. I am
      willing to bet that not many airlines can boast that) on a personal
      screen that we could operate ourselves. It's just a shame I kept
      falling asleep mid-film, haha!

      Granny- Eighteen days and 4,191 miles later we sail into Amsterdam slipping under the dark of night through a series of locks from the North Sea.       ... go rafting, cycling and trekking. But almost as important, we are also planning to spend lots of time hanging around our pool and soaking up the sun with a good book.
