A gentle day planned. The beach is very hot and busy so the pool is a better option with some lovely shade for reading and relaxing. Went for a walk up onto cliffs this morning with great views all round. Definitely needed cooling swim in the pool. Somehow the unshaded and very hot Mediterranean beach doesn't appeal as it seems to to dozens of others! Very relaxing day. Met up with a couple in the bar this evening who I had a drink with yesterday and we had some beers and good ...

It's a long way down Spain to nearly the bottom! Ok if you fly in - but by road. Hmm . It's going to be great to see Pete & Al at their Spanish place which I've heard so much about. I should arrive at Mojacar end of the afternoon after a relax in the morning either on the beach or by the pool. Both nice and warm. I plan to buy a better scale map of Spain and maybe take a less coast/motorway route back to S France. ...

... tank. Then the engine would not start. Out with orange safety vests and red triangles. Lifted the cab and pumped the fuel and it started. Not a good place to stop - traffic whizzing past at 130! Caught up with Rob and Rob at the next servo, where we filled up, obviously. John now knows the capacity of the main tank is 1000, not 1001 km.
