We left this morning on time from The Midi Pyrènèes and now headed for 'the' Pyrènèes! About 300km but we knew the last part of the roads would be windy and slower so we gave ourselves 5hrs for the trip. The Motorway through Toulouse and down to Tarascon was fast and efficient. We stopped their for lunch as it was a beautiful town right between the cliffs at the start or the Pyrènèes. After lunch ...

After travelling and hanging about for 7 hours via Barcelona, I arrived in the early hours, to the capital of my 47th country - Andorra La Vella. With it being late, I went straight to bed, eager at what the next day would hold for my second holiday of the year.

Waking up the next morning I opened to curtains to find a stunning view of mountains - for I had the best ...

We had a great 'Thelma and Louise' trip with lots of laughs. ...

... nice hotel near the capital of Andorra La Vella and right in the middle of the shopping district. We then spent the afternoon exploring the sites of Andorra and of course visiting numerous shops, as well as walking through the old town of Andorra and seeing the stone buildings. If you are interested, some of the cheaper items we noticed were Diesel fuel which was .89c/l compared to France where the average is 1.15/l, alcohol - for ...

Well, today was officially our coldest day of the trip so far, the temperature got down to -6 in the afternoon! But to be fair were on top of a mountain in the Pyrenees enjoying some snow play. We drove 220km south-west towards the border of Spain where we drove into the mountains to the a ski fields at Plateau de Beille. Beille is popular with the french and is not over commercialised and caters ...
