... finished at a Font Romeu over in France. It started in the main square in front of the monastery with the mayor making a little speech and wishing us well. The race began with a convoy through the town lead by a race car before the timing started at about the five kilometre mark. ... anything that involves commercialism or shopping so we were left pondering what he liked here. The next morning driving through north Andorra to the French border we found what we were looking for. Just a little up the track were quiet little ski villages surrounded by ski lifts, people mountain biking down the ski runs and road cyclists enjoying the challenging hilly roads used in the Tour de France. Aagh, this was the Andorra we pictured...definitely booked the wrong cheap ...
