... red wine and fruit. It is delicious and goes down very easily! People in Barcelona seem to be big on fresh food. Just around the corner from my hostel was a big fruit market. You could but just about anything from nuts to fruit salad to meat and pastries. You could buy a decent sized tub of freshly cut up fruit for only €1.50, bargain! Eating healthy food has been such a pleasant change after Greece. One of the highlights ...

I couldn't get over its sheer size, and as I have gravitated to Gothic architecture in the past in many European cities, this was, unsurprisingly, no exception. It was the mother of all Gothic architecture. I headed to the park opposite the Cathedral to sit and gaze at it in the sunshine for a little while.

... still. We ask for our bill and the waiter brought a credit card machine to the table, convenient, where he swiped our card. Our very hospitable waiter also drew us a map of how to take all the trains here :) He was so nice. We left him a tip, disregarding the fact that no Europeans ever tip us. We took a cab home, we were too full to walk. We were still exhausted from all the traveling so we went to bed early and woke up early this morning. We woke up super early, not early ...
