We exited the fortress and went to get our lasagna at a cute little place with a gorgeous panoramic view on the patio! My mouth was ...

... loved us. After dinner we stopped in at another little bar where we polished off a bottle of red for Dad's last ever night of being 55 and then got one to go which we finished off at the hostel while talking to Kait for her first ever day of being 25. Good night sleeps all round with the window shut but not before singing Dad the most awesomest birthday song at midnight - keeping him up until then was a mission.
