    ... But it would have been nice if we had more time. On our way to the so called castle, we bump into a couple who are taking slightly disturbing pictures. There is no nudity - just oddness, which sort off intrigues us. Well maybe not intrigue, but we do find them highly amusing.     There is a difference in the two towns. Piran seems to be the home of the boaties while Portoroz has the beach frontage with the regimented rows of deck chairs and beach umbrellas. In fact, both centres have a very long history that predates the Roman Empire.
