... of their family. Beethoven was supported by the family and was able to produce the music he wanted to write, not just what he was paid to write - I'm sure that was significant in those days. The family was/is very interested in the arts and bringing what they found on their travels back to share with the people of Prague.

We were told that the clock has hardly been tampered with because the original components in the clock work perfectly and it is extremely accurate. The only time they have to adjust it is for Daylight savings.
