        ... of their family. Beethoven was supported by the family and was able to produce the music he wanted to write, not just what he was paid to write - I'm sure that was significant in those days. The family was/is very interested in the arts and bringing what they found on their travels back to share with the people of Prague.

        ... We found our place to stay, dumped our bags and then went for a wander down the road to a conveniently located old monastery. We just sat on the wall and chilled for a while and, on the way back home, Dom had the chance to model her extremely fashionable rain poncho.         ... the castle and the cathedral high on the hill opposite the old town. We passed under three bridges before we turned around at the weir traveling back under Charles and three other bridges, an extra one as we had to travel downstream to turn around.         ... awkward to say the least. That aside though, the room was clean and nice. We met up with Melissa's friend Ali there as well. She went to university with Melissa and now lives in London, so she flew out to meet us for the weekend.

        ... clock that was installed in 1410!! It is an amazing piece of work. Every hour people gather around it to watch it chime.. We were told that the clock has hardly been tampered with because the original components in the clock work perfectly and it is extremely accurate. The only time they have to adjust it is for Daylight savings.
