... having so much fun!

We were talking to four other people - two from Extremadura (in Spain), one from the Balearic Islands (in Spain), and another from Ecuador. They are all students here trying to practice their English. So, we spoke to them in Spanish and they spoke to us in English. It was very interesting and we were able to help each other learn so much.

... very excited that we were able to see a work of his! The building of his that we saw was the Capricho - decorated with tiles that have sunflower designs and music notes on them. It's a unique place, for sure! Gaudí was highly influenced by nature, so his architecture is one of a kind.

We had a great time on our first excursion! We will be going on these trips every weekend to see what is around our school.

... where 99% of this work is), I was crushed. Fortunately, Comillas is one of two places with a work from Gaudí outside of Barcelona. I could not believe it! I had almost never been so excited! If there is one thing I wanted pictures of today, it was that. I must have taken over 50 pictures of it!

Finally, it was time to head home. I am exhausted. Hooray for school tomorrow!

... very interesting to watch. Everyone was wearing red scarves around their necks for whatever it was that they were celebrating.

After leaving downtown, we decided to spend the rest of the afternoon at the beach. Tomorrow we are going to the west coast for the day, so stay posted for more exciting details about our trip :)

... Julius came home.

We all sat around and chatted for a while and watched the rest of the game. Unfortunately Colombia lost, but they played well. It's just after midnight now and I'm getting ready for bed, while the other three are downstairs having dinner. This Spanish schedule will always confuse me. I'm leaving here at 10am tomorrow so I probably won't see my hosts again, but they were really nice. I would definitely do Airbnb ...
