We had a great evening yesterday a delicious meal followed by the cello concert the soloist was brilliant and so young!!! This morning we returned to the Ghetto to buy some pictures from the artist we met a colourful reminder of our stay in Venice. The week with the family in Verona came to an end and off they all went in different directions. Joely and Eds left first for Roma and then Sardinia. But everything else was still up to Contiki standard which is pretty high so far. The next morning we all caught a private boat across to Venezia! It was so foggy I don't know how the driver could see where he was going. All of a sudden a bunch of buildings appeared out of the fog and we were in the heart ...

... sitting across from a bunch of roses by the side of a canal. It was quite the romantic setting minus an actual person ofcorse. Needless to say, I enjoyed it.Heading off from there I made my way to the Ponte di Rialto. This bridge was the most iconic sight in Venice I'd say. It reminds one of every movie that has ever been shot in this place or with its influence. Walking over the grand canal, which was sort of like the Interstate of Venice on the bridge, ...
