... was easy until we were 30min from location according to GPS when it told us to take next exit, this concerned me since the autostrada was currently running along cliff face with gorgeous little towns below. They were indeed gorgeous but he'll to access in a camper. ... the railway was added. The customs house is beautifully decorated and it was here Marco Polo was imprisoned which gave him time to write up his journey to China, which became a best seller.
Many of the buildings in Genoa are wonderfully decorated with Trompe-l'oeil meaning to fool or trick the eye, the buildings are completely flat fronted but they look as though they have columns and porticos over the windows, all an illusion.

Signage isn't great but I then managed to work out when the next train back to the Cinque Terre was - 30 minutes, sit and relax I'm on Italy time now.
