... being me so Rachel gained a fleece. The slight rocking that we experienced the night before was as bad as it got the whole trip, amazingly the weather got better after we left and the swell was only about 50cm compared to the 5m swell when they had been making the return journey a few days before hand. As strange as it sounds, I had fun. Riding through a rainforest, at dusk and night, in torrential rain was quite an experience. The roadworks eventually cleared to beautifully groomed tarmac. As fog rose up from the road, I flew along and then down into the village.
