What a view! Couldn't wait to,open blinds this morning to see what was outside as we arrived in the dark. Lake Como is stunning. Have small balcony and we just sat there drinking in the view. Down to breakfast which was in a room with great views over the Lake. Stu recognised Mick McCarthy who was sitting at the next table to ours. After breakfast we noticed two Ferraris had been bought to the front door to be loaded. As we left the hotel for a day of adventure ...

... at Google Maps, I noticed that there was a walking track that appeared to lead to the other side of the peninsular, so once the gelati was consumed/dropped/melted, we started the next adventure. In the evening we went to Argegno for drinks. Happy hours....served with pizza, focaccia, cheese & honey, salami etc, all free of ...

We went into the city centre for dinner on Saturday and the place was heaving with bands playing, people eating out everywhere, pop up bars and restaurants all through the main plaza's etc. The boys loved it, but not as much as the girls who had another late night out ending up in a dodgy nite club called Choco-Late. A very clever name that one.
We went back in on Sunday for lunch and ...

Saturday Oct 4 We met our guide at 9-30am and made our way down to the Bellagio lakeside where we boarded a water taxi for our tour. Bit of a squash with 14 people; Rosa's son Nick has joined us for the rest of the trip. We motored around the Bellagio headland to the fishing village of Pescallo, very picturesque. It's also gave us a view of our hotel and the Rockerfella Foundation villa ...
