... little town - We've just loved it Palermo, the capital city of Sicily on the other hand, with a population of 656,000 is obviously quite a large place. The streets are just full of wonderful very old buildings and to be honest, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the place was. Unfortunately we really only had a couple of hours to look around but what we did see sort of suggested that this is a city worthy of a better look than we had the time ...

The area around the Ballero' mercato was particularly rough looking, but at the same time we never felt unsafe. And some of the sites, like the Cathedral, and some of the other churches were spectacular. Palermo has so much history, having been ...

We left Milazzo at 6am and chased the sunrise, it really is a beautiful time of the day. The waves were small today and the wind pushed us along nice and a few dolphins were spotted near the shore catching fish. We were passing a town called Santa Agata along our route so obviously captain Aggie wanted to see what her town was like ! We dropped anchor in the bay and had a glorious swim whilst ...
