          Bonsoir from sunny La Croix Valmer where it's still 24c at 9:30pm. We've spent most of the day at the beach near St Tropez. Although there wasn't a cloud in the sky it was actually really windy (and if you're from Perth you know that I know what I'm talking about!!). It was blowing about 40km per hour offshore so we splurged on a sun lounger in a beach club for a bit of shelter ($$$$). We had a really good time - the kids had fun building sandcastles and jumping off the jetty ...

          So getting up at 5.30am and getting to the airport was extremely painless. I was traveling from Palma with Joe (Fish) and American Chris, first to Barcelona and then on to Marseille where we were to meet up with Simon and drive to Toulon to meet Laura and John.
