      ... properties nestled into the side of the hills right on the Med, I could only ever dream of visiting these beautiful homes. Sigh!!! I cannot get over the number of restaurants around the place, there is literally streets of them but 90% of them are closed for the winter months however the ones that were open were very busy, in saying that though there weren't too many tourists around.       ... vineyards and even supplied us with water and an outside plug. Their hospitality was amazing, especially as they had to leave early the next morning as they were going away for a couple of days but insisted that we stay as long as we liked. We stayed on for another night and left slightly heavier having purchased 36 bottles of wine…….yippee!!! We could now drink amazing wine for only £3.35 per bottle…we really love ...

      Also here in our village, older people have a lot of cred. I attempt pedestrian crossings and drivers just scream by. Have an older person with you and you get an immediate screeching of wheels and instant access to the crossing.

      ... room one floor down, with a great balcony overlooking the private little beach below! The rest of our stay there was relatively uneventful, but lots of fun. Ile les Embiez was owned by Stefan's great great grandfather and his son for the salt production and Olive production. The hotel even had an old painting hanging in the restaurant picturing the great great grandfather. Stefan had never been to this island so it was a nice discovery.
