... back to my pasty white Canadian self. So I hit the beach in an attempt to recover a little color. Of course the beaches around here are all privately owned by the restaurant or clubs fronting them so you have to pay to use. A much better deal than Montenegro where they wanted Euro 20 to sit on a beach chair on their not so nice pebbly beach. Here it's Euro 7 plus you get a discount on drinks. Today everyone slept in then Kelly, Madhu, Aria, Brandon, and I took a ferry to Formentera, a small island off the coast of Ibiza. At Formentera we grabbed paella for lunch then relaxed on the beach. In the evening we went to dinner at La Brasa near the old port. Afterwards we came back to the apartment and drank on the ...

In the morning Mike and I went running then got juice from Wild Beets. Everyone headed to the Salinas beach and got a bed at Jockey Club. Afterwards we all drank on the beach then went to a hip hop club called ...

It seems odd to park at an island which is renowed for it's late night partying and then make everyone leave just as the partying is startying. This should result in many people leaving getting on board to the last minute. Let's hope so.

... dip in the water – even checked that our anchor was well dug in. Saw loads of fish within reaching distance. Just loving it.

    Thursday 9 July
This cove is just lovely – very unspoilt. Nursing hangovers we went ashore and had (an expensive) lunch at the restaurant on the beach.

    Friday 10 July
Enjoying this wonderful anchorage – in between dips in the water we're completing chores etc.
