          Thursday 27 August
This morning there were only around six boats at anchor – a couple of yachts and a few super yachts (motor boats). From around 10am there was a steady stream of motor boats, ribs and yachts anchoring in the bay. By around 13:00 the cove was full of smaller craft – the large motor boats were anchoring a little further out.
Didn't do much today other than swim in the wonderful crystal clear waters.

          More lovely anchorages

... just beautiful it is very rolly polly due to the sheer amount of traffic – day trippers, ferries etc. so we decided to move back around the coast and anchor in a delightful bay and just enjoy the scenery.

          Monday 24 August
We left Connigiorne and headed back north to Palau where we thought we'd anchor for the
evening. The anchorage was a little tight with a few more yachts joining is in the afternoon. We were hoping to complete a bit more provisioning but ...

Today we are going to Civita to see the Devils Bridge and also il Raganello the gorge in Civita. It's about a 40 min drive from Fagnano and is part of the Pollini mountains which is a national park.
We park the cars and begin our decent. I had advised everyone to wear comfortable shoes as the walk is a long and steep one. We didn't want to do the walk in the heat of the middle of the day like last time as it ...

          ... slope overlooking the town.

We were given a tour of the engine room of the boat by the Engineer Manwell
It has two giant 12 cylinder Mercedes motors, a giant generator, and a Osmosis water filter converting sea water to drinking water . Quite impressive!!!
Dinner that night was ossco Bucco with cous cous salad, a divine sauce on top!!

Back at the boat for another lovely meal,
Heidi set the table out on the deck, so I had to take a photo of her and Kevin had to be in it also!!!! That night the wind calmed down so was so nice sitting out at the back of the boat listening to ...
